GlassWall Privacy Policy
GlassWall is a court streaming service run by PT Asian Sports Network ("Asian Sports Network", "we", "us"). It films padel and other sports courts, adds live scores and graphics, and streams the video live, including to YouTube. This policy explains what data GlassWall collects, how we use it, how long we keep it and how you can have it deleted.
This policy covers GlassWall at glasswall.asiansports.com. Your AsianSports.com account and memberships are also covered by the AsianSports.com Privacy Policy.
1. Data we collect
Your AsianSports.com account
When you sign in to GlassWall we receive your AsianSports.com user ID, display name and email address from AsianSports.com. We use these to show your bookings and to let you control your own court.
Bookings and matches
When you book a court we store the court, date, time, the stream settings you choose and the match score data for your booking.
Video of the court
Cameras film the courts during opening hours. Anyone on a court can appear in the video. Video is streamed live to the destination chosen for that court and may be recorded. Recordings are kept for a limited time and then deleted. You can ask us to delete a recording of your booking sooner.
Technical data
Our servers log IP addresses, browser type and the pages you open, to keep the service running and secure. These logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
2. Data from your Google and YouTube account
GlassWall lets you stream your booking to your own YouTube channel. This is optional. If you choose it, you sign in with Google and allow GlassWall to manage live streams on your YouTube channel. GlassWall asks for one permission: "See, edit, and permanently delete your YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions" (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl). YouTube requires this permission to create live broadcasts and stream keys. It is the narrowest permission YouTube offers for live streaming.
What GlassWall does with it, and nothing else:
- Reads your channel ID and channel name, to show which channel you connected.
- Creates a live stream (stream key) on your channel for the court you booked.
- Creates, updates, starts and ends the live broadcast for your booking: title, description, privacy setting and start time, as you choose them.
- Reads the status of that live stream and broadcast, so we can show whether YouTube is receiving your video.
- Deletes a broadcast GlassWall created if it never went live, so it does not stay on your channel as an empty upcoming event.
GlassWall does not read, change or delete any of your other videos, comments, ratings, captions, playlists or subscriptions, and does not upload anything except the live video of the court you booked.
What we store
- An OAuth refresh token for your YouTube channel, stored encrypted at rest on our server and used only by GlassWall.
- Your YouTube channel ID and channel name.
- The IDs of the live streams and broadcasts GlassWall created for you.
Short-lived access tokens are kept in memory only.
Limited Use
Asian Sports Network's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google and YouTube data only to provide the streaming features described above, which you can see and control in GlassWall.
- We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to build user profiles.
- We do not transfer it to anyone else, except where needed to provide the feature, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business with notice to you.
- No person at Asian Sports Network reads your YouTube data, except with your permission for a specific support request, for security reasons, or where the law requires it.
- We do not use Google or YouTube data to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
YouTube terms
GlassWall uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting YouTube and deleting your data
- You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from your GlassWall account page. We then revoke the token with Google and delete the stored token, channel ID and channel name straight away.
- You can also remove GlassWall's access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. GlassWall then stops working with your channel, and we delete the stored token the next time we notice it no longer works, and in any case within 30 days.
- If you do not use your connected channel for 6 months, we delete the stored token automatically.
- Broadcasts that already went live stay on your YouTube channel, because they belong to you. You can delete them in YouTube Studio.
3. How we use your data
- To run your bookings, the live stream, the score overlay and recordings.
- To show you and venue staff the status of a court and its stream.
- To keep the service secure and to fix problems.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
4. Who we share data with
- The venue where you booked, which sees your booking and the court video.
- YouTube (Google), when you or the venue stream a court there.
- Our service providers, who host our servers and network. They act on our instructions only.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Security and where data is kept
GlassWall runs on servers we operate in South-East Asia, connected through encrypted links. Access to stored data is limited to Asian Sports Network staff who run the service. All traffic to glasswall.asiansports.com uses HTTPS.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data GlassWall holds about you, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. These rights apply in addition to your rights under the law of Indonesia (UU PDP No. 27 of 2022) and any other law that applies to you.
7. Children
GlassWall accounts are for people aged 18 or over. Younger players may appear in court video when they play at a venue; a parent or guardian makes the booking and decides where it is streamed.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use Google or YouTube data, we will ask for your consent again before it applies.
